It's been way too long since my last newsletter! 😅
A lot has happened in the browser extension world since then, especially with all the new AI tools becoming more mainstream. I've been busy building but back with lots of new videos.
Two recent videos I'm excited to share:
First up, I took a look into building custom MCP tools that work seamlessly with Claude Desktop.
In this video, I walk through creating an MCP that takes a YouTube video, extracts the transcript, generates tweets & can even send them directly to Typefully. This is just one example but this can be applied to pretty much anything and the code involved is quite simple to get started, there is a Github link in the description.
The second video explores something that is growing quickly at the moment, agentic browsing (made possible in extensions by the Chrome Debugger API)
I review the Slesh & Do Browser extensions that are using AI to let you control your browser. Showing that you don’t need an entirely custom browser like Dia or Comet for agentic browsing.
Up next I'm working on a video on converting MCPs into easy to install Claude extensions.
