Firstly, have you ever wanted to be able to identify the users of your Chrome Extension? This week I made a quick video showing an easy way to find out the logged in email address that is linked to a users Chrome account.
It only requires two extra strings in your manifest permissions array & works was as a quick way to improve the auth flow for your users. (You can watch the video below)
One of the questions I get a lot these days is around monetising extensions. I have recorded videos in the past around how to integrate with Stripe, but one of the biggest obstacles for people to get started is the need for some type of backend to complete your Stripe Integration.
I recorded a video recently about ExtensionPay, a new service that for a small percentage of each transaction will provide a backend and easy to use JS library to simplify your Stripe integrations.
